5th Annual #BeAGoodFriend Toy & Coat Drive Supports Dozens of Local Families

Thanks to the support from numerous individuals and businesses, this year's toy and coat drive was our most successful yet!

🧸 Hundreds of donated toys were given to the Wolcott Welcoming Schools Committee. Members of this committee, comprised of educators at West Hartford's Wolcott Elementary School, sorted, grouped and passed the toys out to families of children attending the school in need this holiday season.

🧥 Hundreds of coats were donated to Hartford's Chrysalis Center, a fellow nonprofit organization that provides supportive services to assist people in need to transform their lives. As a result, they were able to offer these coats to clients as the weather turned cold, many of whom are recovering from homelessness, addiction and other challenging situations.

💚 Additional toys & coats benefitted families directly assisted by Friends of Feeney, offering another layer of support this holiday season.
