Over 700 Gifts Delivered Through the 6th Annual #BeAGoodFriend Toy Drive

The holiday season shines a little brighter each year because of the generosity of our community. This year, you outdid yourselves. The 6th Annual #BeAGoodFriend Toy Drive was our most successful to date, collecting and distributing over 700 gifts to children and families across Connecticut.

Where the Gifts Went

• Elementary school children in West Hartford, in partnership with the Wolcott Welcoming Schools Committee

• Patients at Connecticut Children’s supported by the Sunflower Kids Program

• Hartford children through COMPASS Youth Collaborative

• Families statewide supported by Friends of Feeney

A Community Effort That Grows Every Year

The success of this initiative is something we all share. The promotion, special offers and overall community support you provided helped increase participation and allowed us to donate more toys than ever before. Most importantly, your generosity helped make the holidays a little brighter for so many local kids, a joy we’ve already seen firsthand as the donations were delivered.
