About the event
Friends of Feeney is pleased to be take part in 2-4-1 Sport's Blue Jean Mile, a a community-wide commitment to mental health awareness. The event raises money for 2-4-1 Hartford’s youth sports programs, which foster social and emotional learning through play and movement. As we gear up for Mental Health Awareness Month in May, this event serves as a meaningful way to raise awareness, foster connection, and prepare for an important month dedicated to mental health advocacy and action.
Wether you're a serious runner or just like a nice walk around the park, this is the event for you! In addition to the mile run/walk, there will be other activities including mental health resources. Friends of Feeney will have a photo booth and "I Run For" signs where participants can honor their loved ones.
